... and why it matters to everyone in the Church!

“Thank you so much. We just didn’t realise how important religious
are to the mission and holiness of the Church.”
Such feedback encouraged the sisters and organisers of the “Wake
Up the World” APREL Conference in Mentone on the 17th October. A great audience of laity, religious and priests came to listen and
learn, share a BBQ lunch and take away free materials to help educate others about
this essential way of life. The Conventual Sisters of St Dominic, the main
speakers, would like to express their gratitude to the attentive and
supportive attendees, and those who helped make the day a success.

Thank you to all who helped and all who attended the APREL Conference
in Sydney. The engaged and enthusiastic response by the laity on these
educational conferences has been encouraging and rather surprising! People really
DO want to know the theology of Religious Life and how, when lived, it can Wake
Up the World!
Many thanks to all who came, listened and helped out in Annerley, 18-19 of July! It was a terrific weekend and enjoyed by all.
Special thanks go to our Patron and good friend, Bishop Columba, who made the Conference so delightful. We also thank those who organised the hall, and the Annerley parish for their help.
